The upcoming title MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls has introduced its first core team, known as the \"Unbreakable X-Men.\" In this storyline, a new threat to Earth forces the X-Men to reassemble despite many original members being sidelined by previous battles. Under the leadership of Storm, the new roster consists of Magik, a mutant skilled in magic and swordplay; Wolverine, returning with his signature adamantium claws; and Danger, the sentient physical manifestation of the Danger Room's AI. The narrative explores the conflict of mutants protecting a humanity that views them with suspicion and hostility.
Exploration of Episode Mode
The game features a dedicated Episode Mode developed in collaboration with Marvel Games. This mode utilizes a unique storytelling format that blends American comic book aesthetics with Japanese manga styles, presented through motion comics illustrated by celebrated artists. To enhance immersion, the story features full voice acting in 10 different languages and supports PS5-specific features such as Tempest 3D AudioTech and haptic feedback via the DualSense Wireless controller.
